About Pamela

Experience shaped by rehabilitation, refined through wellness, and grounded in compassionate care.

I am Pamela Tan, PTA, LMT, LE, a multi-licensed wellness provider with more than 13 years of experience across luxury spas, resorts, hospitals, rehabilitation environments, and pain-management settings.

As a Licensed Massage Therapist and Physical Therapist Assistant, I bring a rehabilitation-informed perspective to therapeutic bodywork. My work considers the relationship between fascia, joints, muscular tension, nervous-system response, mobility, and daily function—not simply one isolated area.

I am also a licensed esthetic professional and Full Specialist, offering facials and body treatments with the same detail-oriented, elevated standard of care. Whether you are seeking restorative bodywork, support for restricted movement, or restorative skin and body care, every session begins with listening.

Signature specialty

Dynamic silicone cupping: the skill that makes Pamela’s work different.

A distinctive approach developed from years of clinical, rehabilitation, pain-management, and wellness experience.

Learned in Chicago. Deepened through Polish physiotherapy influence. Refined through 13+ years of practice.

My dynamic silicone cupping technique was shaped while working as a Physical Therapist Assistant in pain-management clinics and rehabilitation hospitals in Chicago, Illinois. I also learned from the perspective and methods of a Polish physiotherapist.

Unlike stationary cupping alone, dynamic silicone cupping uses controlled suction and glide across the body. It can be incorporated thoughtfully into a session to explore tissue movement, fascial restriction, muscular tension, joint-related limitations, and the body’s protective nervous-system patterns.

Every application is adjusted to the individual. The purpose is not intensity for its own sake—it is to support comfort, circulation, movement awareness, and a more functional relationship with your body.

Fascia-aware approach

Silicone cups allow controlled, adaptable glide that can be used alongside therapeutic touch to address areas that may feel dense, restricted, sensitive, or overworked.

Movement and joint support

Sessions may include cupping around relevant soft-tissue areas while considering joint mobility, posture, compensations, and functional movement goals.

Nervous-system informed pacing

Pressure, pace, and technique are adapted to what your body can comfortably receive, with an emphasis on safety, communication, and avoiding unnecessary force.

Education beyond the session

Pamela’s rehabilitation background supports practical client education about body awareness, movement habits, self-care, and when to seek medical evaluation.

Common wellness goals

Bodywork support for areas that often hold tension, restriction, or discomfort.

Dynamic silicone cupping and therapeutic massage may be integrated to support comfort and movement. Your session is not a diagnosis or a substitute for care from a physician, physical therapist, or other qualified medical provider.

Sciatica-related discomfort

Supportive work for surrounding hips, glutes, lower back, and legs when muscular tension or movement patterns may contribute to discomfort.

Frozen shoulder symptoms

Gentle, individualized support for shoulder-area tension and comfort while respecting pain levels, mobility limits, and medical guidance.

Neck and upper-back tension

Focused bodywork for common tension patterns around the neck, shoulders, upper back, chest, and arms.

Low-back and hip tension

A whole-body lens that considers the low back, hips, glutes, legs, and day-to-day movement patterns.

Limited mobility

Thoughtful work intended to support body awareness and more comfortable movement within your individual range.

Post-activity recovery

Therapeutic sessions for active clients seeking recovery support after training, travel, demanding work, or repetitive movement.

Chronic muscular tension

A customized approach for recurring tightness and guarded patterns that may affect daily comfort and relaxation.

Stress and body overload

Restorative hands-on care for clients who need time to slow down, reconnect, and feel supported in their body.

Important: Cupping and massage are complementary wellness services. They do not diagnose, cure, or replace medical treatment. Temporary skin discoloration, tenderness, or soreness can occur after cupping. Please share relevant health conditions, medications, pregnancy status, recent injuries, blood-thinner use, skin concerns, or medical restrictions before a session. Seek urgent medical care for severe, sudden, worsening, or unexplained symptoms.
